Here is the documentation for creating a promo in the system.
Step 1: Go into Maintenance > Payments > Promotions
Step 2: Click the little arrow to choose the promotion for a specific store or Coporate for all stores.
Step 3: Enter the Name of the promotion. Check the checkbox for active. Set a start and end date. Add any related options if needed. E.g. Manager required.
Step 4:Go to the top and click Quick Combo QS and enter the name and price of combo. Add any related options.
Step 5: Go to Components QS and click Add. Enter a name for each component and add an item for each component. Make sure one of the components is the primary component. Save the Promotion.
Step 6: Go to Maintenance > Screen Designer > Quick Service Screen Designer.
Step 7: Click Work with Panels
Step 8: Click Panel > Open Panels > Specials Panel and click OK
Step 9: Right click on one of the buttons to copy a button and paste it into the grid. Scroll down to action then choose Quick Combo. Choose the Quick Combo. Adjust the name and colour to match the new promo.
Step 10: Click the three dots by components and choose all the components.
Step 11: Click ok. Click Panel > Save Panel
Step 12: Refresh and Test
