Purpose: To ensure efficient and high-quality installations of IT systems and hardware for clients.

Procedure:

  1. Pre-Installation Checklist

    • Review project requirements and client specifications.
    • Gather all necessary equipment, tools, and documentation.
    • Verify permissions and access requirements with the client.
  2. On-Site Installation

    • Arrive at the client location 15 minutes early.
    • Follow safety and security protocols on-site.
    • Perform structured cabling, security camera installation, or network setup as per the client’s specifications.
  3. Testing and Quality Assurance

    • Test all installed equipment to ensure functionality.
    • Perform quality checks to ensure installations meet SatCom’s standards.
  4. Documentation and Client Training

    • Document the installation details and configurations.
    • Provide a brief training session for the client on how to operate the new equipment.
  5. Post-Installation Follow-Up

    • Contact the client within 48 hours to ensure everything is functioning as expected.
